The Chinese Communist Party has launched a powerful new institutional tool โ€“ the ๐˜Š๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ญ ๐˜‹๐˜ฆ๐˜ฑ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ต๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜š๐˜ฐ๐˜ค๐˜ช๐˜ข๐˜ญ ๐˜ž๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ฌ โ€“ tasked with reaching into the very heart of society: private companies, NGOs, community groups, and even volunteers. But what does this tell us about the Party's gripโ€”and its doubts?

Join this exclusive China Knowledge Network session that dives deep into this game-changing development.

The event's speaker is Professor Frank Pieke, one of the worldโ€™s foremost experts on the Chinese Communist Party and currently based at the National University of Singapore. This is a rare opportunity to hear him in person on a topic that has profound implications for China watchers in government, media, and business alike.

The session includes:
๐Ÿ”นWhat the new Department does (and doesnโ€™t do);
๐Ÿ”นWhy its creation reflects insecurity at the top;
๐Ÿ”นHow this affects foreign businesses, journalists, and NGOs operating in or with China;
๐Ÿ”นA Q&A session with Prof. Pieke
